    • starting strength seminar jume 2024
    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    work has been shit for the last few weeks so haven't trained much at all. got in 1 session while I was away for work. did 5x3 squats at 155kgs, felt harder than it should have did some pause bench, maybe 4x3 at 107.5 easy.

    didn't do anything for about a week after that.

    then this week i have just been training when i can.

    went last night and did deadlifts 170x6, 180x5, 190x4, 200x3, 170x8. was OK, but not great.
    also did bench 90x8, 95x7, 100x6, 105x4, 100x10. OK, felt better than i thought it might considering how shitty deadlift felt

    then tonight did squats 120x8, 130x7, 140x6, 150x5, 120x10. this actually felt better than i thought too.

    went again tonight

    bench 110x5, 112.5x4, 115x3, 120x2, 110x5 heavy tonight.
    squats 3x5 at 100kgs. good recovery.

    misc lat pulldowns

    190x5, 200x4, 205x3, 2x190x5.

    certainly gone down on this. need to get programming back happening.

    did some accessories yesterday.

    t bar rows 5x10 at 35kgs
    ghd 5x12 at bw
    ohp 5x10 at 50kgs.

    misc curls and triceps

    all pretty easy.

    i have trained a few times since the last post.

    i am weak and fat now. but happy with small person.

    went to the gym yesterday kind of struggled with 5x6 at 170kgs for deadlifts.

    i have written a reduced program for 3 days a week. working up to those weights at the moment.

    tried out going to the gym before work.

    did squats 4x6 at 130kgs. ok, first set sucked. don't like working out in the morning.
    also bench 3x5 at 100kgs. not bad.

    training first thing is shit, but you get used to it. Can you manage to eat beforehand?

    yeah i had breakfast before i left home. i never usually train close to food though. i will be going only one morning and doing the rest on the weekend.

    did bench yesterday.

    6x8 at 95kgs. not too bad. wasnt great though.
    deadlifts 3x6 at 120kgs. easy. deadlifting the next day.

    starting strength coach development program
    deadlifts today

    5x6 at 175kgs. way too hard, feel weak.
    light squats 10 at 70kgs 8 at 90kgs 6 at 110kgs. easy.
