Yes, though I usually wait until the weight is over 300 before chalking up. Nothing but DOH until a couple of weeks ago, tried a mixed grip after a failed DL and the bar practically jumped off the floor! I've also rarely done more than five reps, so today when it started to slip after number five, I did three with one hand supinated, then two more with the other hand supinated. Been using CoC 1.0 & 1.5 on non-lifting days as well.

Nice work on the bench press. Seven reps with 218 is nothing to sneeze at.

Is your last set AMRAP or are you programming for a weight you can hit 8 times?

The program is supposed to be straight up 5/3/1, so I understand that the last set is always AMRAP, but I haven’t actually bought the book yet.

Thanks. Being at the bottom of the learning curve with respect to programming, it's not always self evident to my slow brain what the person is programming.

And your music selection is that of my son's. Damn whippersnappers with their loud music! Personally, I never can go wrong with the 2 GB of Rush I have. Or, grow tired of them. Especially, the live albums.

Had some bruises on deltoids from last time, held bar higher today. Position shown in the book is very uncomfortable; instead been doing something like a California front squat but with arms not crossed.

Ha! I only really listen to the metal while lifting or doing other things that require concentration, i.e., when I don't want lyrics to distract me.
