    I weigh weighed my dumbbells, with 55lbs of plates on the short spin lock DB handles the weight was 59. I used to count them as 2 each.

    I can see SSBs in my future, if 2 trainees I respect are doing them. Also, a younger coach at my gym mentioned she programs them for herself sometimes, too.

    I got it because when I got older my shoulders didn't like to bend back so much There are other reasons that people use it , hots the back andegs different. Check out my friend Pat Susco on Instagram, he is 70 and only squats with it now Years ago he did squat 900with a straight bar He said that wrecked his shoulders

    I like the idea of having my safety squat bar around to use when I have shoulder injuries.
    Your shoulders can be a mess and you can still squat... which does a lot for recovery.
    Perfectly happy with mine. It is there if I need it and I've had two injuries that required it.

    I have one of the worst episodes of DOMS I've had on a long time. I squatted Monday (not much but it was for me), I felt sore yesterday mainly in the hamstrings. Today they were cramping. Did some work since my grandson came to WO.
    Natulis chest press 70/12
    95/3 3 3
    Nautilus pulldown 70/12 12
    Will be going to Colorado on Sat.
    When I come back will get back to it.

    Never been out here before. Saw pictures. Going to take the antique train ride from Durango to Silverton, big tourist attraction. Then meet my 2 grand nieces for the first time
    I'm training because I know it pays off in the long run and I'm having fun with my grandson. Brings back memories of doing the same thing with my son 25 years ago
