Be careful with those shoulders. I'm now sure that my shoulder injury back in 2013 contributed to my proximal bicep tear.
The last couple of months my shoulder pain had gradually moved down into my bicep. I now know what was happening.
On the plus side, my shoulder pain has been a lot less since the bicep tendon snapped on Tuesday and released things.
I've found a lot of information that has made sense of it all. My bicep tendon had been fraying and then finally tore.
    Be Careful and Stay Strong.

I just found this... Bicep Tear (WHAT TO DO) - YouTube

Thanks, it is strange. I'm sure I must have torn something years ago.

I know I tore something in the left shoulder doing close grip benches with 245 in 2013, but I never had it looked at.

I bought a cambered sqt bar and decided to try it out today. The bar weighs 85lbs.
    Bar/5 105/5 115/8
Had my 14 yo grandson try it, he did 2 sets of 15 with 115.
We then did super slow reps using 35lbs on the Nautilus Leverage chest press/pulldown. He got the idea how slow reps done without locking out or stopping made the lift much harder.
Next we did some sled pulls. We used handles on the chains, pulled walking backwards as Shugg suggested. Then pulled in a rowing motion. About 100lbs on grass.

I throw in some backwards sled drags as warm-up work on Squat days.

Today I had my grandson and his friend at my garage.
We did some benches using the camber bar. It sure is unstable,
We started with the bar (85lbs).then added 10s then 5s.for sets of 8. I stopped at 8, they both did 12 on the last set. My grandson 14 weighs 135, his friend 15 weights 195.
The then put the straight bar in the rack with 135, the big guy got 8 reps,my grandson got 2 and I got 5.
Next we did belt sqts. 6 rep sets starting at 90,then 135,175,210,245 270,295.
They both wanted to DL, I passed on that. The big guy worked up to 315 for 3, my grandson did 185 for 8
Then I had the do wide parallel pulldowns with 75 lbs.and some drag curls. Then some Muscle Milk and trip to McDonald's.
