    50 seconds
    Nautilus pulldown 45/6 1min 28 seconds
    Tricep presssown 30/5 70 seconds
    Trap bar shrug 135/5 85 seconds
    Wrist flexion and extension
    The goal is to get at least 90 seconds on a set,not worry about number of reps. When the time under load goes above 90 seconds the weight can be increased.

    Some grip work, plate hold and 1" vertical bar holds.

    Wow Jerry, sounds like your grandsons doing great...I think he has a good role model and mentor. I can remember doing 20 rep breathing squats with near 300 lbs when I was younger, extreme torture...but I was also in my 30's. Tell him to keep up the good work, he won't regret it!

    Thanks, I trying to get him to understand he doesn't have to spend hours in the gym. And when he has more responsibilities just keep doing what you can even if you have only a half hour a week to train

    That's right Jerry, just like Dr Ken always preached, the basics always work if we do. I envy you having known him, I learned a lot from his articles when I was young.
