Energy is a little low . I think I wil go with two work sets.
My shoulder feels ok doing presses but it seem most painful during the nite.

My shoulder was painful earlier in the week when trying to sleep. I read this is a common problem, it seems sleeping on a recliner i s helpful, tried it for two nites and seems to work.

I finally got a chance to answer your PM, Jerry, it will explain a little more. And, thanks again for the message. We're in for a cold weekend here in Syracuse, but I picked up flowers to put on my girl's grave on Valentine's Day anyway. That's one day I will never forget, among many others. Glad to see you're keeping up with your workouts, too.

Since Tuesday morning I had a problem with the left side lower back. A few times I moved a certain way and I felt a twinge. I took Motrin and iced it a few times. By this morning it felt ok,so I decided to do the scheduled workout
Dl 115/5 135/5 185/5 230/2 no belt felt fine
I wanted to do two work sets with my belt using 245
3 reps first set then next set shoot for 5.
I did the first rep with 245, it went ok, on staring the scold rep felt a twinge on the right side just above my butt so I decided to stop the DL
I was going to do standing press today, but in order to keep the back out of it did BP.

My back has felt fine all day yesterday so I decided WO .
I am changing my WO to something along the lines of a Dr. Ken plan.
I took much shorter rest times between sets and each exercise.
I have been reading some articles I had saved by Bill Starr on training when you are older. He seems to have an opposing view from what I have read on SS . He believed more volume rather then intensity is what is needed as you get older .
I plan to repeat this WO again later this week, not sure if I will try 2 or 3 day a week, or just wait two days between WO.
I haven't been doing any cardio other then a short warmup on the C2 before lifting. I am hoping the higher reps and less rest will be a advantageous.
