Thank you Shug and Mark. I sure am sorry I stopped lifting for some years, but some sad situations got in the way. Now I feel if I miss a scheduled day I am a pussy, and don't want that.
    Monday 6/27/16
BB press started suspended by chains from garage rafters
    20/15 43/5 52/5 5 12
    DL 115/5 135/5 185/5 205/2 230/1
260/3 with belt. 230/8 back off no belt.
Walked a mile on Friday and Sunday morning and I'll do it again on Tuesday and Wednesday.

First Happy Fourth to anyone reading this

OH Press bar hanging from chains
    20/15 45/5 55/5 5 13 then one minute rest and did 7

    DL 115/5 135/5 185/5 205/2 230/1

I thought I would get 4 on the work set,but didn't want to push it. I did get two more reps on the back off set, so at least I did a little more work than last week .

Real hot and humid here today, so I changed up what I did for sqts, went up 5 lbs but did less reps and sets and did one back off set.

What do you think about the way these feel in your hands?
My old box-gym had DB handles that were about and inch & a quarter in diameter; I found them much more comfortable and easier to use then the smaller ~28mm handles.

I'm using 2 1/2" diameter handles, these were steel sleeves I got from Ironmind years ago. The thick handles make it slightly harder to get into position on the bench, and take a little effort to control while pressing. I use a parallel grip doing DB press and benches.

    Sat 7/16/16
    SB Sqts. Bar/10 95/6 135/5 165/4
    195/3 180/5 with belt.
    BB row 115/5 5 5
After the rows I loaded the SB to 230 and did 3 sets of three walkouts and squated down to pins 6 inches below. Just trying to get myself accosted to holdin more weight on my back. I think next time I squat I am going to try doing some sets starting from the lower pins
I know these numbers at low, but taking years away from training and getting to be an OMF have taken its toll on me.

Hey Jerry, every day on the blue side of the dirt is a bonus, and most our age are lucky to walk a mall let alone put a bar on their back. It's all good numbers.
