I think I will try something along the lines of,an article I read in Hardgainer over twenty years ago but Brooks Kubik on abbreviated training. The article had you lift 4 days a week, I will spread it out depending how I feel.

Took a lot to get me motivated to go into the garage today.
After I did the 5 reps with 195 I didn't think I had it in me to repeat,maybe if I took a long rest it would have happend. I decided to drop the weight and do 2 back off sets.

I thought i would get 5 reps with 80 but wasn't happening today. Instead of doing it again with less reps I decided to do 2 back off sets .
