The hardest part of training for me is getting good sleep. When I was younger I didn't give a crap about anything and slept like a baby.

Good news, for me anyway is that on Tuesday the hearing in my right ear came back. Imwas worried because an ENT specialist has been trying to sell me hearing ads for the last 7 years every time I go to get ear wax removed. Still congested with plenty of crap coming up from my lungs.
Decided to do a diffent WO today, the metabolic WO I did a few months prior. Still not feeling to good and for, sure need to loose some lbs as my BP is still a little even though I take Lotrel .
Warmed up wth a few sets on each lift then did the 3 lifts no rest. After the 3 lifts where done waited at most 3 minutes and repareded two, more times.
    DL 185 x8. DB BP 42 1/2x6. Pulldown 120x6
    ". 6. ". 6. ". 7
    ". 8. ". 6. ". 6
I guess this is more of an exercise WO then traning but that was all I had in me for today.

Hey Jerry, at long last I've started a log. Condensed Jan-Mar in about 3 posts. Thanks for the mention of my program in earlier posts. If you want to see it in action check out "Geezer Gainzzz" log. Cheers, Mike

Hi Jerry, I have never seen anything like your DL progression. It looks like you are warming up to 205/2, then a working set 240/3, and then a back off 230/5 which is real close to another work set. I could never do a back off set that close to a heavy work set, but everybody is different.

Did two sets on the Hammer Leg press just because.
I am going to something like the one lift a day program. It's easy for me since I have a home gym, probably hard if you had to get to a commercial gym. I dropped about 5 lbs in the past 3 weeks, hoping to lower my blood pressure enough to get off medication.

After the WO about 2 hours of shoveling the wettest heavyest snow I have ever felt. It was about 5" but felt like I was shoveling wet sand. The snow blower was useless for this crap. I was using what seems to be a shovel used to throw coal in a furnace. A five foot long handle and a foot wide metal shovel at the end . It sure hit my triceps and biceps and a little lower back and legs. Of coarse the snow plow came down my block and put about a foot of snow across my driveway apron and that had to be cleared also. I live n a corner house 100x120 of sidewalk to clear. Today is a rest day.
