I'm just glad i got motivated a few years ago to get back to it. Once in a while when I look at what I'm lifting I get depressed and wonder if its worth the effort. But just this Sunday I helped a friends son in law change a 50gal water heater and in my friends house. Me and the younger guy carried the old one up from the basement and the new one down. My friend is a year older then me and not up to that type work any longer.
I retired from being a mechanic about 9 years ago and an sure I would have been in the same condition as my friend if I didn't train.
