Pretty awesome to see someone squat 500. Having done percentage based programming, I feel like there has to be more to that guys programming. That, or he can grind 5's way better than he should be able to if he can hit 90% 5x5. Hell, the best programming I've come up with caps my 5x5 at 80% and I've always had solid results from it.
    Thanks!

I agree 100%. If you can lift a weight for 5x5, how can it be 90% of your 1RM?
(I squatted 415 a few weeks ago, matching my 1RM. Squatting 375 for 5x5 would be pretty tough for me right now.)
There must have been more to it. I know with some programs, like 5/3/1, sometimes you're doing a percent of a percent, so, for instance, you might be doing 90% of your 90%, in which case you're really doing 81%.

    Strength
    Deads: 475 x 1s x 5r (5RM PR!)
    Deads: 415 x 2s x 5r
    Bench: 235 x 5s x 5r

    Other
    T-Bar: 210 x 3s x 5r (PR)
    Ab Wheel: 1s x 5r

    Volume
    Deads: (2,375 + 4,150) = 6,525
    Bench: 5,875
    -------------------------------
    Total: 12,400

Deads were a new 5RM PR. Felt great to hit it. All reps were legit, but back rounded enough on the last rep that I wasn't going to do another set of 5.
T-Bar, as always, is good stuff.
    The ab-wheel is a mf.
