It really is funny how life works sometimes. I had a rough night last night...first having to take one of my granddaughter's to an evening dentist appointment forty miles from home (mine). Got home late and had a late dinner, then found myself awake into the early morning hours...just could not get to sleep. I was feeling it all over this morning after about four hours of sleep, and my stomach was a little off to boot. I fully expected having a tough time even getting through my workout, and my squats were TOUGH, but by the time I got through my benches I was riding a nice "high".

An excellent workout today despite the bitter cold (8-9 degrees), my light day workout.

Almost over my cold, and my back is feeling very good....had a great workout today! I had to order a new singlet for April's meet, my old ones are a little to snug for my liking (and age).

My workouts continue to go smoothly, my lower back actually feels great, and my lifts are rising steadily. I just need to be careful not to push it too quickly...I was a little over-enthusiastic this morning, donīt need to take unnecessary risks with my meet seven weeks away.

Weŕe just starting to get the effects of another winter storm passing through, theyŕe expecting 2-4 ft. further north of us before itś done this weekend. I decided to work on my SQ technique a little today and worked up to a good double with 275...the most Iīve done for a double in a long time. Everything else went very well.

Looking good. This weather is crazy, one day it's in the high 50's then it drops 25°.But I can't complain haven't had to use my snowblower yet.

After my workout on Thursday, I thought I might have strained a tendon in my foot...it was somewhat painful for a day, but seemed okay today and didnīt affect my workout.
