I feel your pain as we have lost a close relative right before Christmas back in the eighties. My condolences!

My Aunt's services will be next week, and my Uncle's boys are taking care of most of the arrangements, so I managed to get a workout in at home. It went surprisingly well under the circumstances.

I have a minor setback, following my aunt's funeral on Wednesday. I was one of the pallbearers, and unfortunately had a minor accident at the cemetery. With the snow and ice, footing was a bit treacherous, and I felt a snap behind one knee as we stepped into the boards surrounding the grave. At first I thought it was my hamstring, but now believe it was just a tendon or ligament strain. I'll still be able to bench and overhead press, but deadlifts and squats are out for the short term.

I'm back in Vermont, following my Aunt's funeral last week. I worked out at the Y in Burlington this morning, and tested my knee strain (lightly). No issues so far, next Monday I will squat again, that will let me know how it really is. I got a pair of Fatgripz extreme (2.75") for Christmas, and used them for fat bar CGBP and fat bar curls, very effective.

I have the blue fat grips. I can dl 135 with one hand .When I try that with the fat grip I can't budge it. The weight just feels like it's glued to the floor.
Hope you have a Happy and Healthy New Year.
