    It's been very hot and humid around here for the past week, it was about 90 today. Probably part of the reason I was sick last week, I know I was too dehydrated, I'm trying to push the fluids and electrolytes this week.

    I'm still not back to 100 percent yet, after last week's stomach bug, but today's workout was decent.

    I'm still draggin' a bit during my workouts after that stomach bug, but I'm slowly improving. Of course, one of my boys said "You gotta remember your age now too Dad!"

    I only got one workout in last week, needed to help my mom out, before the closing on her house. Did a lot of manual labor over four days, and my bad hip is still feeling it. Don't know if I'll be able to get the work in to compete in October, I'll probably make my decision the first week in September. Twelve weeks till the meet, so I need to get serious now. I actually worked out in the storage unit I'm renting here in Vermont today...it wasn't bad.

    Good to see you did get to do a workout. I well know that Mom's come first.
    I hope the hip heals up. I had been having hip and shoulder issues for the past few months. They seem to be easing up. I've been taking it easy lifting wise. As Ripp says "maintaining".

    A decent workout today, though the hip is still bothersome. I need to start pushing my bodyweight up a bit.

    starting strength coach development program
    I found out last night, that the meet I planned to do in October has been cancelled. The only other option around that time is in my former organization - WNPF. Unfortunately the entry fee is over $200, not including the membership fee. I can't justify that at this time, so I'll probably just test my lifts in the gym over the last week of October... should be interesting, I'm actually doing pretty well lately,.
