    My workout today was kind of haphazard, more or less just doing what I felt like, no real plan.

    Hope everyone had a great Christmas, my own was quiet and simple this year. All my kids were busy with in-laws, as well as my siblings with their families. My best friend from high school had major back surgery a week ago, but after a few anxious days with no word, I finally heard from him. He got through it well, though he did lose enough blood to cause concern. He's facing a long rehab now.

    My lady friend and I went to her gym this morning, and with so many people off this week, it was the busiest I've seen it. Luckily, the racks and platforms were almost empty.

    We went to the gym this morning, but didn't bother going in, it was even busier than last week. It was in the low 50's here today, so I did my training in storage. I used wave loading for BP today, but think I'm going to switch to something less time consuming. I started an 8 week squat program today, based on percentages of max. I may use something similar for my BP.

    Happy New Year everyone, hope you all are enjoying the Holidays. Started a new plan today, just light OHP and light SQ to begin. Friday will be light BP and SLDL'S for at least a few more weeks. Only six days till I turn 70, oh boy!

    Heavy stiff-leg deadlift and light BP today, it's a nice change being able to finish a workout in 30 minutes.

    We're in the middle of a cold snap here, and my body has been feeling it all weekend. My bad hip and knees have been giving me fits. The gym was pretty crowded when we got there this morning, so we took a drive and came back when the morning crowd was thinning out.
