    We got our first snow of the season overnight, about 4" and it was 26 degrees when I went out to warm-up the garage. I'm enjoying the change of pace with my workouts and making nice progress.

    Nice work. Thanks for reminding me, I need to get my propane tanks filled for the garage heater.

    I've decided to reduce the frequency of my heavy workouts...I believe it will give me better recovery. I'll be doing my A/B workouts on a Monday, Friday, Wednesday rotating schedule, so three workouts over two weeks. This will also apply to my complex/grip workouts.

    Happy Veteran's Day to all my fellow vets. I'm still nursing a slight hip strain (flexor and adductor) since the meet three weeks ago, but it hasn't affected my squats (yet). I mostly feel it with my pulling.

    My hip is still giving me a little trouble, but I got through everything today without losing any ground.

    A bit of a painful workout today, as my low back has acted up the last couple days. I pushed through and actually managed to hit a couple (current) PR's. My chiro has been on vacation the past week and a half, but I'll see him on Monday and hopefully get the problem straightened out (literally).

    I've gotten behind in my log due to the fact I made a move a few weeks ago. I've been seeing a woman from Burlington VT for some time now...a long distance relationship. We both finally decided to see if we can make it work (for both of us), and I made the move up here from central NY. Things have gone pretty well so far and we're optimistic. She sold her house to her two girls last month and bought a condo north of Burlington in the country, but only 11 miles from the gym I've been using when I would come up.
    I'm still having some problems with my hip from the meet in October, but it's slowly loosening up. I'll just pick up with my most recent workout from this morning;

    BB curl (Olympic bar): 70x3, 90x1, 110x1, 115x1, 120x1
    Inc. press: 100x6, 125x3, 150x2 (missed 3rd)
    CG pulldown: 110x6, 150x10
    Power clean: 115x3, 135x3, 160x3
    DL: 215x6, 255x3, 285x3, 315x3 (all without a belt)
