Yeah, me too. I think it's the same part that got upset when I pulled 365 sans warmup. It was a bit sore today, so we'll see how things go during warmup tomorrow.

I've really been running on stupid with training. Gonna do better this time; maybe even get one of those elusive PRs.

Don't underestimate the effect of moving boxes in your new pad...even strong and fit that stuff will wear you out pretty quick.

BW - 192? (didn't weigh until after breakfast)

    Bread and butter.

    Squat:

    295 x 5, 315 x 5 x 3 @8, 7, 7

    Press:

    155 x 5 x 3 @8-8.5

    Deadlift:

    385 x 5 x 3 @8, 7, 7

    CGBP:

    135 x 6, 185 x 6, 225 x 6 x 3

    Notes:

Felt pretty good. Going to take a smart(er) approach to get my squat back to PR territory, then transition into some kind of 8 week meet prep. Numbers are important (still want a 500 squat, 365 bench, 315 power clean, 275 press, and 600 deadlift) but I don't really know if I'll get them this year and, besides that, right now I need to focus on consistency.

Indeed. The stairs to get out of my current place are narrow and steep. It's going to be a fun weekend! Followed by a few weeks of "where the fuck did I put that?!" And, "Why do we still have this?" I have to keep reminding myself that it is a MUCH better place, and I am genuinely looking forward to being there; it's just the GETTING there part that's...interesting. It's a great opportunity to practice my Stoicism.

True for all sorts of unpleasant situations!

I think a lot of stoicism can be broken down to:
    (1) stop complaining. (It's worse than useless. Much worse.)
    (2) take charge of the situation to the extent you can
    (3) accomplish your goal and learn from the experience
    (4) find the pleasure you can in the suffering
    (5) know that this moment is just a moment in your life, this moment is not your life.

I meant to write one sentence that would be particular to your experience. Instead I rambled.

    Good luck with the move!

    BW - 190

    Box-loaded calf raises x 1,000,000

~14,000 steps (shut up, math nerds)

"Why yes, that does go on the 3rd floor. Boy, it sure looks heavy!"

    Good times.

Prolly 80-90% of The Stuff has switched venues. Sleeping at the new place tonight in a new bed. Hopefully I don't wake up with a charlie horse, because I definitely did not drink much water today!

PWO cardio - individual king sized bed carry out of the old apartment and down the stairs. Then some more loaded-box stair carries.

Probably not the last time (I plan to upgrade one more time before totally settling), but it's to a better place, so good in the end. The biggest friction actually comes from all the other stuff. Work (poor planning and project delays make the schedule for the next two quarters a little iffy, and a senior member is resigning when we're already short-handed [not bitter, I'm happy for her and looking forward to the opportunity to fill her shoes]), final project for master's program, wife starting new job, getting my time-consuming hobby back on track, summer travel and family stuff. Feels like a whirlwind sometimes; I think it's all great stuff just hectic.
