Had the weekend off, thought I'd get in on Sunday but wound up out much later than I'd first planned on Sunday morning so just skipped it.
Tues 12th September
Squat 75kg x 5,5,5
Bench 70kg x 5,3,3
Chins and Pull Ups
Squats were easy again, storming past my old PR quite easily. I know I could hit bench with a spotter, but with no spotter and no rack to bench in I don't like risking any grinders. Going to reset to 62.5kg and go again from there, though!

Press 50kg x 5,5,5
Deads 102.5kg x 5
Assistance
Happy with this, last reps were all slow but going to keep on progressing!

Sun 17th Sept
No time for stretching
Squats 77.5kg x 5,5,5
Bench 62.5kg x 5,5,5
Chins Assisted, lots as quickly as possible
Had a headache which seemed to get worse after bracing for heavy Squats, did my reset benches and called it a day. Got some stuff to do back home!
The bench is this gym is so slippery, anyone got a fix for this? Tempted to ditch the benching and just DB Bench which would also solve the spotters issue.

Pro Tip. If you ever want to force yourself to do cardio then simply lock your keys and phone in your car, with the only spare a 10 mile round trip away from the gym!
Needless to say, I gave the gym a miss after that.

DB Bench 28kg x 5,5,5
Went with my two friends who were doing a Leg day so rejoined them after DB Bench to do a lot of lunges working out to about 100 reps with an empty barbell, it was good fun but I'll definitely regret it tomorrow.

Not as bad as I imagined after only lifting sporadically over the last few months. Need to get my form checked here, everything felt alright but sometimes feel a little weird just above my left hip (on my lower back) after pressing. Back feels a little stiff yesterday/today too but to be expected after not doing any squats or deadlifts for a while.
