    What makes you think playing a team sport will turn out better for you than did your earlier track-and-field experience? (BTW, I'd play real close attention to your team-coach's cutting ability)

    Because I actually I enjoy playing flag a lot and I was really good prior to my ankle injury. There are a ton of former Division 2/3 football players in the competitive flag league btw.

    Just did:
    2x5 squats with 252 lbs
    4x5 quarter squats with 312 lbs
    3x12 cable knee drives with 32 lbs
    4x8 hip thrusts with 315 lbs
    3x12 calf raises with 252 lbs
    6x10 second side planks with 40 lb vest (quadratus lamburum)
    toe flexor 3x30 with Archexerciser


    First workout in 6 days...was very long.

    Going in for my first session of Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy(for posterior tibial tendon) on monday.

    Just tried 272 for 5 and failed on the last rep.

    Weight is down to 144 flat.

    Just got a 32.1" vertical with my hands on my hips. This is called the "countermovement jump test". Quarter squats seem to be working.

    It was the combination of body fat loss (22% to 17%), two weeks of quarter squats, and a one week rest period where I did no sprints or jumps. My SVJ is likely 35-36" right now...ie getting entire hand above rim without a step.

    Further reduce your protein intake; your diet is the only miscalculation that has kept you back from the life that you've dreamed of.
