8/15/2016 (PM Lifting) Only had 25 minutes so it was going to be a light day but things changed.
    Back Extensions x10
    Hip Openers
Squat- 45x10 good tempo, 135x10 owned, 185x2 destroyed, 205x1 average effort

He still managed a 10lbs increase even in the abbreviated session. Total time was 22minutes. Back again tomorrow with the bench and squat. He will eventually mix in the SSB squat variant once or twice a week.

    11:25pm-11:53m

Airdyne- 3 minutes at low to moderate intensity
    Back Extensions x15
    Lunges x20 total
SSB Squats- Bar (70lbs on scale)x10 harder balance (felt normal by rep 5), Bar x10 sat back=more glutes, hamstrings, and even quads, 140x3 bar leapt off back after each rep (very good speed and finish), 190x1 average effort, 215x1 balls out!! Fought hard against gravity and came out of it standing

    He racks everything!

Gym Bro: Didn't you squat yesterday?
    Beast: Beast squats everyday. ⬇️

It seems as though Beast is proficient in many different squat variations - that's impressive. What does his overall programming and plan look like?

Squat to a max everyday. Not necessarily a PR but whatever the maximum amount of weight the body can move that day. Variations he does include High Bar Squat, Front Squat, SSB Squat, Overhead Squat, and paused versions of all movements. He performs all lifts without a belt and without any knee wraps or sleeves. From an upper body standpoint he benches every other day to a max and also performs ring push up variations to further develop upper body strength. His coach has said that if Beast follows the plan he will be at a 185lbs max bench press in two weeks time. It is to been seen whether or not this dramatic prediction will come true.

Good luck with your lifting every day strategy!

Excited to see how it pans out.

    DIY Olympic Lifting
Broomstick Snatches x10 good and super fast, Barbell snatches x5 slow and super weird
Deadlift- 140x5, 230x3,(Back Extensions x15 to prep for real weight) 280x1 easy and fast, 320x1, 370x1 tough 168.2kg @ 75kg 2.25xBW (mediocre is better than weak right?) edit- this was a PR lol Beast forgot about that
Beast needed to establish a baseline for deadlift to gauge progress. This is a good baseline but he still has 31.8kg to go before he's at a respectable pull
Heavy Bench and Moderate Squats (more reps at slightly less than max) this evening.

The Beast has always been an impressive deadlifter. How has his form come along since December?

Learning to control lower back makes form infinitely better on every lift.

(In sperrys versus normally VS Athletics) Squats- Bar x10 great, bar x10 excellent, 135x10 excellent, 135x10 excellent, 135x20 excellent form throughout, some breathing squats after rep 12
Bench- Bar x10 very fast(touch and go), Bar x15 super fast (mix of pause and touch and go), bar x10 fastest (3 count pause)
Back Extensions x10 with 20lbs on chest

Less than ideal workout time as Beast was given 20 minutes but he still got in the work that needed to be done and used excellent technique and speed throughout. Heavy Bench day tomorrow and heavy squat day.

    First Rough Day
    Back Extensions x12
Bench- Bar x10 great, Bar x10 great, 95x3 fast, 115x2 fast, 135x3 very good until bumped hook on rep 4 and failed to do anymore full reps, target was only 2 reps but easily had 5 reps in the tank until collision wrecked set, 161x1 fail (misloaded the bar by 10lbs too heavy, this fail caused a ton of fatigue), 155x1 fail (under recovered), forced to do what follows: 85x5 3 count pause, 85x5 speed, 85x15 who knows why
Front Squat- Bar x10, Bar x5, Bar x10 best
    Back Squat- 135x10
