Great lift tonight! Was able to get more time in than yesterday and Im still without pain. Think its safe to say that it will not be coming back!

    Deadlift:
    135x10
    155x5
    175x5
    215x5
    225x5x5
    245x1
    265x1
    285x1

    Press:
    45x10
    75x5
    95x5
    115x5
    135x5x5

    Front Squat:
    45x10
    75x5
    95x5
    135x5
    145x5x5

    Sumo Dead:
    135x5
    165x5x5

Did some sprints this morning so my butt was a little toast, but the sumo deads felt fine. The conventional deads felt really great tonight, hence my upping the weight for singles. Will continue to inch my way up by 5-10lbs per session, but I think once i get to 6 weeks, Ill start to get back into the intensity that I was at before my surgery... or at least try.

Squats were feeling a bit off balance and heavy tonight. Think I might bring the heels back into the mix. Still not ready to bring the belt back into play. A couple more weeks though.

    Squat:
    135x5
    155x5
    175x5
    215x5x5

    Press:
    45x10
    75x5
    95x5
    135x5
    140x5x4

    Deadlift:
    135x5
    165x5
    215x5
    225x5
    245x5x5

    Bench:
    45x10
    75x10
    135x5
    155x5
    175x5
    205x5
    215x5x5
    225x1
    245x1

    Bent row underhand grip:
    45x12
    75x12
    80x5x12

Bench is coming along. I haven't trained bench fives in almost a year due to the SS meet including press instead of bench. My PR is 295x1 so hopefully ill be able to surpass that without issue now that I'm focusing it on it.

Sweating bullets after last night's lift! Squat push press and deadlift. All numbers going up. Having a bit of shoulder pain on the left so I might work on some smaller motions and make sure my form is correct. I need to focus more on the scapular elevation at the end of the press to make sure I'm incorporating my upward rotators. This was also the first squat session I did with my heels on. Felt much better than the other day with my flats.

    Squat:
    135x5
    155x5
    175x5
    200x5
    225x5x5
    245x1
    265x1

    Push Press:
    75x5
    95x5
    115x5
    135x5
    145x5
    155x5x5

    Deadlift:
    135x5
    175x5
    215x5
    225x5
    245x5
    265x5x5

Bench is coming back at a good pace. Didn't have enough time to get my chest and rows workout in last night so I only did 5x5 with my bench. Would help if my gym was open longer than 3-8pm weekdays.

    Bench:
    135x5
    165x5
    195x5
    215x5
    225x5x5

Bench was pretty heavy today but doable. Almost had to get some help for the last rep of the fifth set, but I was able to push it out. Having trouble keeping my wrists neutral as my bench weight gets heavier. I think they would be fine for singles, but I will continue to train them for fives

    Squat:
    135x3
    195x3
    215x3
    225x3
    245x5x5

    Press:
    45x5
    75x5
    95x5
    115x3
    135x3
    145x5x5

    Deadlift:
    135x3
    185x3
    225x3
    245x3
    265x3
    275x5x5

Long lift today as I took 5 minutes rest between all working sets since the weight is getting heavier for me especially the press. Felt like I might have been leaning a bit to the right on my squats, but I adjusted after I started to notice. Won't be able to lift tomorrow and possibly not all weekend but we will see how events lay out.

Got back under the bar tonight after being sick with a head cold for a few days! Decided to go with 3x3 for squat and deadlift tonight. Will continue with 5x5 tomorrow.

    Squat:
    275x3x3

    Press:
    150x5x5

    Deadlift:
    315x3x3

Licensure exam in the morning so I'm glad I was able to get a lift in to take my mind off the last 8 weeks of daily studying. Will be good to get it out of the way and over with!

    Bench:
    230x5x5

Had my 5 hour long exam this morning and celebrated with 230 pounds on the bar. Felt like a ton of bricks. At least I wont have to study daily anymore! Now I can get back to reading SS and PP

    starting strength coach development program
Got back from Miami this morning after visiting my little brother for the weekend. After taking the weekend off I was happy with the numbers that I put up in the gym today.

    Squat:
    275x5x5

    Press:
    155x5x5

    Deadlift:
    295x5x5

Adjusted my gaze and head position during squats tonight and looked up a bit form what I was doing before, which was almost straight down. My hips would start to come up before my shoulders would, but the adjustment has allowed my shoulders and hips to ascend together.
