The highlight of today's training was the last step before a plate milestone in my next DL workout: deadlifting 315 for reps (a triple).

DL: 310x3, 280x5. I found that taking the time to find the middle of my foot during setup really makes the worksets seem much easier.

Today my McCulloch coefficient jumped up overnight, from 1.204 to 1.225! So I got that going for me. Which is nice.
Maybe only those who competed in a strengthlifting meet ever heard of McCulloch's. Not sure if they use this age-based coefficient in other strength sports.

Pin press: 110x5x2. Only second time doing these. First time for sets across. My press lockout sucks. In the 3 SS meets I've done, I'm surprised I got no red lights for a soft lockout. Pin presses will take some getting used to, but they might could help.

Press starts: 134x1, 1. Only rested between the first and second singles long enough to rerack and unrack. First rep I got up to my eyebrow and held for a count of 5. Second only got up to my nose and held for a count of 3.
