Today was a little rushed since I had to get some training in tonight before a road trip. I only did one top workset of SQ and BP.

That sounds like a good way to training
when short on time.I keep reading that intensity is important .
Yeah, hopefully I don't have to resort to that a lot. When I get back this weekend, I'm going to do 4-5 sets across to make up for missed volume.
The latest Barbell Logic podcast included Andy Baker for an excellent discussion of programming, including the importance of intensity for old guys like me.
Ever misload, and not realize it until much later? Before today, when I was training with my son once, and he helped load one side of my squat bar, he loaded 5 pounds extra and I immediately felt the asymmetry.
But today, it wasn't until I was driving home, thinking about the deadlifting I just did, when I realized I loaded the bar with 10 pounds less than planned (295 instead of 305). My last warmup single was 285. Instead of taking off the 5, putting on a 10, and replacing the 5, I stopped at the 10.
Maybe that's why gym bros get attached to plate math, and stick with just the milestones of 135, 185, 225, 275, 315, etc.

DL: 295x3. On a hunch, I made my stance very narrow on my workset. It felt so easy that I thought I had a technique epiphany...until the drive home.
It happened plenty of times, even 2.5 lbs. side missload is noticable.

P 1.5: 108x4+F, 3x3. I Press "light" (80%) on days I Bench heavy, but maybe I should switch to more volume ---> intensity programming.
Light BP: 145x5x3. I Bench "light" (80%) on days I Press heavy, but maybe I should switch to more volume ---> intensity programming.
Chins: BWX9, 1, 2+F. 45 seconds rest between sets, which I have probably outgrown by now.
