Thank you, sir. If it's not on IG, it didn't happen.

Last night, laying awake in bed, still trying to nod off after midnight, I was tempted to call off training today. Among other things*, the same southeast storm that brought a lot of snow to points north dumped a lot of rain here, and i could make out the distinct sound of a slow drip as a bedroom window leaked. I rationalized that today's SQ and DL workout could wait until my next scheduled day of Wednesday. After all, I had just PRd both Thursday, one day later than usual. Maybe extra rest would be good. But I decided to deload everything I planned to do 10% instead. Glad I did.

*Oh, and I might get laid off my job tomorrow. Got inklings of that Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.

I guess a light day when needed is better than blowing the WO off.Sorry to hear about the job especially at Christmas. Most businesses are pretty heartlees when it comes to the bottom line.

If you heard an audible sigh of relief coming from the south this morning, it's because I learned I kept my job for now. The rest of my group did not go unscathed, though, so those inklings we all got late last week were not false alarms.

Because losing my job would have affected my training, I wasn't sure what the future held for that important aspect of my future. I'm a creature of habit, so I write the next workout in my log pretty much as soon as I complete the current workout.

For at least the last 3 weeks left in December, I want to try the 2 lift a day template that was on the front page here recently.

Glad to here your safe for now.My son works for MSC Direct, a pretty big company. They seem to think nothing of cutting out a whole department when they find they can outsource cheaper.
