    Doing barbell rows today felt great, after not doing them for years. Something very satisfying about slamming the bar into my upper abs, but I'll watch for bruises.

    Agreed. If it was easier to get to the gym on a weekday, I would definitely do some type of a 2 lift a day program. Right now, Day 1 is squat, bar rows; Day 2 is press, bench press, and chins (3 lifts); and Day 3 is squat, press, deadlift, bench press, and chins (5 lifts).

    Yes! Couldn't fathom the taste departure of Macallan 12, from other peaty single malts I've had (Lagavulin, Laphroaig). Then I read the damn label, where it says it's aged in sherry casks.

    After a brain fart, I forgot to put my belt on for my last warmup set of squat (235x2). The difference was noticeable.

    4/20/19
    Gym 1300

    Medium SQ: 45x5x2, 135x5, 185x3, 235x2, 260x1 (overwarmup), 235x5, 5, 3. I programmed a triple for my last workset on purpose.

    Barbell rows: 135x5, 150x5, 155x5
