I think with this next training block, I'm throwing in Pulls and Chins. I had fun with them the other day...and they might de-funk my shoulder at the same time.

I see you've been doing DB presses.
I was sitting on my bench with the incline all the way up, picked up a pair of 30lb dbs and only got 4 reps, sure surprised me how tough they felt.

De-funking my shoulders is exactly why I do them, but deliberately.

I know, right? Honestly, they feel the best when I do them one arm at a time.

    Funny you mention that.

I saw one of the youngsters throwing around dumbbells presses alternate arm, and I thought: hmm, that looks interesting. Damned if it wasn't easier that way...with MORE WEIGHT?!?

I mean I'd like to think I'm getting stronger, but I've never been able to press 50's as a pair. Now I can actually get a couple of reps in using alternate arm pressing.

The same thing happens with DB curls, for me I can curl more when doing them alternately.

Although they aren't open for entry (yet), I saw the 2022 dates for virtual PL and SL meets through the summer. I decided to LP to start preparing for them now in case I am able to compete (possible travel conflicts notwithstanding).
