I might give up certain foods, but there's no way I'm giving up my Elijah Craig.
Keep up the good work, Granny!

Heh, both my chiro's are pro-heavy lifting. One used to work national powerlifting comps as an attending physician. The other is a guy who has his own weight room at his house and puts up some pretty good poundage's for a young, tall, and lean fellow.

    CYCLE 16, WEEK 1, DAY 1 12_21_17 Thursday (on 3 Hrs Sleep)
    OHP HEAVY 5 82# 3, 4, 4 (not surprising)
    CGBP 101#, 8, 8, 8 (added a # from last time, still decimated these)
TRICEPS LTE 45#/12, 12, 12 STE 20.5#/10, 10, 10 Cable Pressdown w/rope handle 50#/10. One of the trainers corrected my form (moving my wrists at the bottom and elbows not tight enough.) He said most females bench press with their triceps?? Ok. I guess. 30#/10 with a contracted pause, straight wrists. 6-7 sets of 10. Ouchie mama.

CYCLE 16, WEEK 1, DAY 2 typical holidays. i managed a few doubles at 80kg squat and that was it.
    CYCLE 16, WEEk 1, DAY 3
    OHP Light Triples 77#/3 (5)
BENCH HEAVY 5's 108.5# 6+, 6+, 5 (the trainer made me do two sets, no rest, no fancy belt, no setup, his fingers on my bar after 5 reps...he said the way to get stronger is to do more reps and he WILL touch my bar to assist. I take it he disdains my method of training.)
    Incline Bench 75#/10, 80#/8, 75#/8
Happy Holidays All (I guess thats pretentious assuming anyone is reading an old lady's log, but wth.)

You have no reason to feel intimidated by anyone younger or stronger, that's just the way it is.Just wonder if they will keep going when it gets tough as the years pass by them .Your numbers look fine. Merry Chridtmas, time for me to go our and get a WO in myself.

    We'll see!

    CYCLE 16, WEEK 2, DAY 1 12_28_17 Thursday
Really really tired. I figured I'd crash & burn.
OHP HEAVY TRIPLES 87#/3 (3) seemed fairly easy! Couldnt get 86 last two cycles. Last set's bar path all over (lowered rep 1 badly, pushed rep 2 forward, rep 3 static at my forehead) but I was stubborn and fought through it.
    CBGP 102#/8 (3)
    Triceps LTE 45#/12, 12, French Press 25#/10 (3) Cable Pressdowns 50#/10, 50#/8, 40#/8+30#/7+20#/6 (3)
And I met someone who's doing Starting Strength as well. Small world, knows the SS coach in NJ that taught me. He's like a NJ legend, that coach.
