    Week 27 Final Phase D2

    Comp Bench
    (120-125)
    120x1 @10 grinder, forgot to video.______ 4@ 100x1 @RPE 8, 8, 8.5, 8.5
    Back Raise (2RIR) 20x10 @3RIR, 25x10 @2RIR, 25x9 @2RIR
Incline DB Fly (2RIR) 15sx10x3s @4,3,3 probably could do more weight, couldn't get a flat hinged bench so on the incline and kept hitting the hooks. Kinda hurt the shoulder stayed light.
DB Pull Overs (2RIR) 25x10x3s @2RIR (add weight next time)
Iso Hold Hammer Curls 15x10x3s @2RIR

BELTLESS comp bench. I realized reaching behind to do/undo the belt was hurting more than benching; I guess its a beltless pr? Do I need the belt??

Got a spot from a decent young guy, let me grind, I asked him about the pause - he said the pause was good, he noticed my left arm was tucked correctly but my right arm was kinda splayed out wide at the bottom. So all the videos from the side, from an angle, at hip height - worthless? I needed one from spotter position?? (and no other spotter for a couple months mentioned it, now I don't feel so bad about forgetting the video).

IDK what that might mean, my joints aren't stacked over each other on that side?? I've been compensating and made it worse??? does anyone know?

The 100's were good. None of them had the sharp pain.

    Week 27 Final Phase D3

    Comp DL
    230x1 @8, 190x2x3s @7,8
gymmate videoed; he thinks my hips are TOO HIGH. I explained the setup (lower til shins touch?) IDK is my setup wrong?
Couldn't keep the flattest back today.
Comp Bench 105x3 @9.5 (explained later)
    100x3x3s @? felt great
    GM 75x5x2s @7RPE
    DB RDL (2RIR) 30x7 @4RIR, 35sx7 @4RIR, 40sx7 @4RIR
I am stupid; I cannot hold enough db weight to load myself for RDL. ??
Tomorrow is a day with a million exercises which ends Peaking.

BW 172 (after 4 cookies yesterday, a yogurt/berry parfait, 1/2c oatmeal, cereal with two eggs in butter, 3/4c rice with ratatouille and chicken breast, a fat boy ice cream sandwich, and a snack bag of Cheetos...wth, how I can lose weight is beyond me)

Re: hips in deadlift. An unqualified looks correct to me.
FWIW I can feel that it’s harder when I get sloppy and let my hips drop as I tighten up to pull. My quads say “hey, harder”.

    Happy New Year!

    TY!!

Happy New Year all. Can it be worse than 2020-2021?*
I'm hoping for maybe PRs and definitely more sanity (Facebook can start by not adding automatic "resource links" to my posts' words like "dog, 2022, fireworks," otherwise we're done, mf-er).

The DL - the gym trainer who I trust commented, don't listen to the guy nothing's wrong, maybe shoulders forward a bit.
I almost asked the guy, you mean, do a clean shifting deadlift? then realized how ludicrous a question - 100% he never heard of it.

On another note, some of the older guys are (kinda) squatting (depth before dishonor> is smith machine a squat, my coach would have said, no, it is not) and deadlifting (guy that picked up my bar at 190, told me he did a 230 single the other day, I said, yeah that's what I did now, he asked my all time max and then I had to explain "downsets / backdowns" to him - pushing them!!! They see its not easy, not like I'm locking out at my knees) I think they are realizing shit, the old lady is doing it chances are I'm stronger than her..... so its good.

    working at gym today....
I did something that had my shoulder really hurting again, reached across my body somehow. Took Advil this am, still hurting now, took a 25# DB, 20 cross bench pullovers - the pain is pretty much gone.

    what the hell?

And the left knee again with the tightness etc behind the knee! Squatting was rough. Feels looser today now though. Shoulder, same as it was.
Yesterday tired AF, basically sat around all day, did some foam rolling/lacrosse balls/stretching.
