Argh...my eyes, my eyes....got yer period... *steps back, closes the door quietly, and tiptoes away*

Focus is everything. Reckon people around me figured that out. When it's time for me to lift, don't walk, fidget, or talk, don't even look at me. I get in the zone and tune everything out anyway.

I wanted point something out as really good, but it's hard to choose one when everything looks spectacular.

    Keep on trucking, granny!

Oldster! Hope things are lightening up some on your end.

We women come with a disclaimer (*OR...she's hormonal!). To keep in mind with the womens march/metoo/timesup bullspit going on now.
The entire gym has a good laugh on me; its all good!

Now. What did I come in here for?? and have you seen my glasses???? ;-)

CYCLE 17, WEEK 2, DAY 4 1_23_18 Tuesday; since sunday evening everything has hurt; its like the injury to my hip/back, but not INJURED feeling, just, IDK, sore, feels like a rib out too. Must have broken form quite a bit on those last two squat reps saturday.
Squat Light Triples 155#/3 (5) Pretty easy.
DEADLIFT HEAVY TRIPLES 220#/3 (3) Not terribly easy, but not grinders.
So tired and yet it seems all this FIXED my back pain. We'll see.
RDL 150#/6 (3) getting easy need to move up.
Shrug 150#/10 (3) I may move to dumbbells to see if I can shrug BACK more; I used the squat/deadlift/shrug machine w/handles, had about 185 or so on it, one shrug, I dont feel my traps. Nothing like powercleans or pulls.

    CYCLE 17, WEEK 3, DAY 2 1_27_18 Saturday
Tired, and fighting the ick. Been coughed and sneezed on at work for two weeks; took two dayquils and went to train. WWWS? what would wada say?

SQUAT HEAVY SINGLES 205# (3) PR lifetime pr! is this me? There was actually a STRONG guy (6 plate a side deads) and 2 kids today! Yay!! Im watching 2 HS kids one w/my build (long torso & arms, long thighs), the other perfect HBBS body, doing perfect LB and HB squats w/315 sets of 5, and maybe Im better suited to low bar; 205 didnt feel like an absolute max, my back limits me. Although, watching these guys, EVERYBODY has this fight to keep back position, high or lowbar. I'm fine GETTING tight/setting up, 1st rep decent, 2nd harder to keep back up, 3rd, rock bottom bounce fine, ugliest rep halfway up trying to keep back up.

    Powerclean 88#/2 (2), 93#/2 (2), 98#/2, 103#/2, 108#/2, 113#/2, 118#, 123#
Wide Grip Seated Lat Pulldown 100#/10, 90#/10, 90#/10
Standing Straight Arm Lat Pressdown? 40#/10, 30#/10 (2)
Bent BB Rows 88#/10 (3) IDK if I do these right
Curls 50#/10, 8 Seated DB curls, 10#/ a lot at home

    CYCLE 17, WEEK 3, DAY 3 1_28_18 Sunday
    Still fighting the cold.

    Press Light Triples 78#/3 (5)
    BENCHPRESS HEAVY SINGLES
135# F (I told the spotter this was an overreach...I just had to try. stuck 3" off my chest)
131# (best of the bunch, but the spotter touched the bar)
131#, 130# (I could tell the spotter helped substantially)
    Not much leg drive/tightness.
    Incline Bench 85#/8, 75#/10, 75#/8, 75#/8
Last day of this cycle Tues., then if the cold continues I'll probably do a deload.

Colds can really set us back. I've lost some great cycles to getting sick. Deloading for a week may be just want the doctor ordered...

I'm 99% sure I want to try to lowbar to see if I can eventually lift more weight. Not because of the bodytype kids (they could both lowbar regardless, I think, but who am I to say...I'm still super impressed that they do hard squats) I'm thinking my trouble staying tight going deeper is probably not going to help with squatting more weight. Have to get my shoulders and back to cooperate though.

    CYCLE 17, WEEK 3, DAY 4 1_30_18 Tuesday
First thing I did was the low bar shoulder stretch. Couple reps at 45#. Id have to see how my bad shoulder is after a squat session. I guess it'd mean resetting my squat.
Light HB Squat Triples 155#/3 (5)
DEADLIFT HEAVY SINGLES 245# (3) First was the best rep. My upper back rounded next two reps, no idea how much, BOO! Legwise not terribly hard. I wish I could see myself!
    RDL 150#/6 (3)
    Shrug 150#/10 (3)
I feel better this week (person who was sick is on vaca). The flu season, still so many people are sick.
