Isn't it nice to recognize when it's time? My youth, well...middle age...was spent trying to power through.

Now I'm old enough where I have to be smarter!

Well. I know I'm older. RE: lifting, I really wish I had a coach; although that seems silly at my age. I just want to be stronger.

C2 6 Intervals, 20s on, 100s off. almost broke a sweat, whats up with that?
No sleep for 2 nights, ugh. Pretty sure my back/rib's out.
And, now I dont know if I should just restart with all new 5's or what. duh.

    OHP Heavy 3's 89#/3 (3) PR
CGBP 105#/6 (wth?), 8!, 7 (wanted all 8's, form or what, w/o someone there to see IDK. I feel like guys are staring, so maybe Im doing something wrong)
Triceps LTE 50#/10, 7, 5, Frenchpress 25#/10 (3), Cable Pressdown 60#/10 (7) (because, so crowded I used lat pulldown/row bent bar that gives those movements more ROM...but kinda sucks for PD....but I still got the ouchie out of it)

Really tired, lost 3# doing recomp for 3 weeks, and AGAIN feeling nasally & fighting off the ick that EVERYone has! bitter cold snow/wind & now rain & fog, dank that seeps into your bones. Sucks. So, I decided to train.
    SQUAT 3's 187#/2 175#x3x2
    Powerclean 90#/2, 95#/2, 100#/2, 105#, 110#, 115#, 120#, 125# exhausting having to lower them
    Lat Pulldown 100#/10 (2) w/straps, 90#/10, 60#/10 very slowly w/a pause & squeeze.
    Bent Row 90#/10, 8, 8
    Curls 50#/10 (2), 45#/10
My husband got me a Vday massage Mon., I need an adjustment too - same rib on my distal clavicle resection side is out.
I stopped drinking beer AND whisky 1.5 months ago. I really miss beer...

sure! walls & huge beams when timberframing, 300#+ bathtubs, furnaces/boilers, roofing materials, etc etc. He is a contractor. When he was younger he did engineering for a dewatering/water remediation firm... so things like dewatering the PATH train/subways during 9/11 & at kennedy airport, water tunnels coming down from upstate NY, reservoirs, which also involved heavy work; I try to STOP him from lifting things now. or doing housework, or my laundry, or knocking walls down at home. If I could get him to squat, tho, I would (I think he lifts w/all hips low back not always great)

    C18, W2, D2 2_11_18 Sunday
    OHP Light 79#/3 (5)
BENCHPRESS HEAVY 3's 119#/3 (3) PR! relatively easy, shocked; i thought my press was driving my bench, but the SS coaches told me its the opposite. IDK. It seems like when I get my DL to 250 and my squat to 210 I have a lot of problems continuing on, w/recovery.
    Incline Bench 85#/8 (3)
    C2 Sprint Intervals 5, 20s on/70s off
