I wish I had answers for you. Sometimes you have to take a stepback.
    Happy Holidays.

Weird holiday; had a lovely xmas at daughters, with my parents and grandkids.
Supermarket run in with a dude, yelling at me – SHE! (what?) I'm SHE, you said HE. So much angst, I didn't know, didn't see a name tag; guy(dba gal) got upset and ran away.

So you think you can tell,
    heaven from helllllll
    Blue skies from pain
can you tell a green field
    from a cold steel rail?
    a smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell.

    During work at gym yesterday.
    Incline Bench 60-65x8x5s
60x8x5s @7ish? feeling sore today doing plants and stuff, only had to load 30 pieces of sod slow day
    Row 10-12x3s @2RIR
    80x10
    75x12
75x10 supinated. Left forearm has a pull, this really bothered it.

I went for bloodwork as suggested, everything seemed normal afa thyroid, and the reason I'm tired et al is because I do a lot and - I have menopause.
Testing was at a "regeneration" youth place so they recommend bioidentical HRT. However its $300/month, my daughters FIL is a dr said its all normal and regaining your youth is big money bullshit. so no.
HDL is 70 (I remember it was 90) and my LDL is too high at 100. Trlglycerides 100. ,
I have more time now, bc high earnings are desirable at quarter end, so employees don't get hours.
I restarted training as schedule allows (I had 7pm-11pm Friday night) am starting a new "low fatigue" 3 day template; skipped a couple exercises the first two sessions not sure I can set up for the ex in my gym (nordic ham curls, Copenhagen planks, I'll have to swap exercises), was pretty sore after first session, seems a bit better now; so far I haven't made it in to do cardio on the other two days, oh well.

I have to say, just reading your workouts made me tired (respect!). So maybe you’re on to something with these. Good luck!

Your new program does seem more like what the abbreviated programs I have read in the book I have Grey Hair and Black Iron
As far as TRT, I see S S seems to recommend it, but I have read that it can also cause other issues with your health. I guess it's best to follow your relatives advice.

TRT for men? This is progesterone and estradiol. And maybe T. IDK? they say bioidentical does not cause cancer. Many women I know say its great. I met a few gym people at the place, good lifers in their 40s, both genders, on supportive hormones.
I wouldn't mind trying to see what it does can always get off; but I haven't had "insurance" or "bloodwork" in over a decade, so for now, it's off the table.

Default ANOTHER pivot, still trying to claw my way back

Where did I leave off? Low fatigue template for training pivot. SI is out, yesterday I realized an upper back rib is out. Down to 171, 172, wtF?

    1_19_23 Thursday

    Split Squat
no; weightless back lunge hanging onto trx straps, knees still hurt like crazy with these

    LBBS

    130x3 @7.5 > downsets 105x5x4s @6, 6, 6.5, 7.5
    Floor Press
    95x3 @75 > downsets 87x3x2s @6
    Rack Pull (MS)
    190x3 @6.5, 7? (sb 6 reps @8, but the left back, I figured patience, don't die just yet) > downset 160x4 @6
    6-0-0 SL Ham Curl
10#x5x3s @7, 7.5, 8 (rest was time to do each leg, pump).

Everything's changing again; took an offer as a Rx CSA, I start tomorrow; quit Saturdays managing gym & big box hardware chain.
Not sure if I'll have any more time to train or if I'll ever get back to where I was; but I won't be schlepping 20x20x2-3" block for folks anymore (customer, watching us: "those each weigh 56#!" me: "Naaaahhh, they can't weigh THAT much." Guy: "look at the tag, 56# each, you're strong!" Me, thinking I'll pay all week: "meh"). IDK if its all the physical activity, old age, hormones, or some reaction to the stupid vax, just are days I feel like I got hit by a truck.

Training pivot, lol. My entire life has been a pivot from the second Phil Murphy shut the economy down, got us all thrown out of our jobs. But nobody mentions "reparations" for that. Is what it is.

Good luck in the new job. This sure is a crazy time in the US. I hope the voters smarten up.

    starting strength coach development program
2_3_2023 Friday Vero across town near job. Signed up there - cheaper/no contract; my gym a mile from home won't allow me for a month (so today's cardio sesh is out.) Ulnar nerve was jacked as hell couldn't feel ring and pinky fingers all annoying pins & needles; upper back, meh - and SI was not that bad.
    1ct Bench 95x3 @7.5 > downsets 80x5x4s @6,6,6.5,6.5
SSB Squat 100x6 @7 sb @8? > 92x4 @6? (not sure what this gym bar weighs I took it as 65, but this was wayy too light so its probably 55-60#).
    Press 53x10 @8 > 50x10 @8.5? freaking cardio
    Triceps Rope Pressdown w/a hold. 12x12x2s @7, 7.5 12x11 @7

Clearly need to be doing a LOT more stretching and foam rolling. SO hugged me up and down today, every upper back bone cracked (ahhhh).
