Press Camp....
I learned I'm terrible at 2.0. Especially doing it every rep. I'm used to 1.0 and a stretch reflex, or 1.5. I only went up to 65# then dropped to 63 for a set of 5; I need to practice it more.
On bench, I used to push the bar up a little too far away from me (moment arm), and now I overcompensate a little bit pushing back toward the rack. Will fix.
That old saw, the powerclean start, came up in q&a. I must be missing something.
It becomes an infinite loop for me with the assertion that POWER clean is by definition a submaximal lift, submaximal being the reason Olympic weightlifters' low hip start works; and that you can only POWER clean 50-60% of your deadlift; yet still advocate for only a high hip deadlift start (which won't be powercleaned if its 50-60%+ of DL). Whichever way works for you, I say it's good.
On a personal note I learned that probably my biggest issue w/lifting as a whole over years and years is probably lack of technical precision & consistency. That and being relatively weak.
BOTTOM LINE: SS CAMP - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
