I feel ill, really tired, and underrecovered: trained light anyway.
Not sure if it's hormones (2 weeks to menopause), fighting off the ick that's infected everyone around me, or all my strength is just gone.

Tired today, stayed up for football. On the 'Quil last night too bc my throat is feeling sore-ish (co worker has been really sick for 2 weeks hacking etc....glad I don't smoke).

eh. Seems to be getting better. Squatting w/trepidation my knee is iffy, realized after 5@8 its making me think too much and not be tight, fixed that on downsets. Floor press, tires my triceps.

Between eczema & SO aches & pains, I'm not sleeping; exhausted. Accidentally swapped my @7 for @6 on bench, but it felt like @6 so I went with it, no clue what's up with THAT. Skipped squat technique work.

Snow/ice storm is coming, they say. Joints don't like it, knee specifically (the one that has been "going" for 3 yrs now). I slept better last night but low on carbs yesterday and this am. 3ct bench seems to be getting easier. Right shoulder said no to flinging 40 or 45s into position.

I went thru the slush. Today I'm officially menopausal. @9s felt more like 8, 8.5's today. I'll take it.

the floor press looks interesting. Is it to work on lockout?

IDK if that's the sole intent... I'd say its good for sticking points (right off your chest?), it takes the rest of your body out of it (I do them straight legged - apparently I depend on my legs to benchpress a lot), and its harder to lockout the last few reps (I really feel it in my triceps?); another thing I've noticed is, it seems to be a bit easier on my shoulders.
