    B14, WEEK 1, DAY 3
    4_18_19 Saturday
First thing I did I felt my back tweak out, same bone/nerve whatever it is, as usual. Happened on 2nd squat could barely move. Ugh, watching all my gains fade away I wish I could avoid it (wah!). Hurts to twist bend, get up from bench et al. Feels REAALLY good hanging down off the ghr thingy I have at home. This has happened before, will probably happen again. Whelp. Looking at it positively, its just another challenge to overcome, nowhere to go from tweaked but up. TNG is strange, the spotter was hanging over me/my sight w hands under the bar so my 130 wasn't that great - but it seems like I'm making progress in comp bench, and tng not so much anymore. whatever I'm happy to get anything at all.
And, going this afternoon to have my tatas checked out, plus a dexa. Ought to be fun with the back; I have a premonition I'm 45% fat.
    2ct Squat 135x2
    TNG Bench 130x1 @8 107x5x5 sets
    Pin Press 65x10x3 sets @8

could barely get out of bed. #BrokebackTraining
Video: pulls, a little bit of bar drift; bench ezpz (other than lying down and getting up) maybe should have been 125#; way too much body english going to 125 for rows - was a mistake.

    BLOCK 14, WEEK 2, DAY 1
    5_21_19 Tuesday
Back/pelvic area still janky.* Dexa showing signs that I'm turning into a jellyfish, so calcium w/vitd it is (messes up my stomach).
SQUATS: programmed 1@8, 5x6sets at 76% did not happen*- but they all felt GREAT and easy - skipped downsets. I felt something being very painfully squished on the way up with a very light 135# squat Saturday (up or pins? UP) - today's the best it's felt since that happened, WHILE SQUATTING! what. the. hell. ??? So much for the "you're going to squat/deadlift/press, with YOUR back???" crowd. My SO: be careful don't hurt yourself more.
PRESS: all from dead stop. Misgrooved first 88x1, did 85 then 88 easily. S/B 75#x5x6 sets but I did 72#* - pretty easy
CGFP: cut out one backoff set to let someone else in the powerrack

First holiday of the year and probably missing this weekends sessions....hopefully the back is even more recovered next week, which is a pivot week, so everything's changing anyway, (obviously, since I'm FINALLY adjusted to the last few weeks.)

    Comp Squat 45x5x2 65x5 85x5 95x5 115x5 125x3 135x2 165x2 175x1 185x1@8 (all felt great & easy)

    Press 88x1 @8 72x5x6 sets

    BLOCK 14, WEEK 2, DAY 2
    5_23_19 Thursday
Kind of a crappy day in zone E. L. Y. Mammo is like the muller report - they can't say nothing's up, but can't say something's up (I told them to do ultrasound and apparently they did not. Will cost another $500 on only one boob! Should be half price. Nuts! I wish I had those instead sometimes.)
    DEADLIFT
    135x5x2
    155x5
    185x5
    205x3
    225x2
    235
My back didn't HURT, 235 went right up not hard or heavy - but some (probably stabilizing) muscles said that was enough. Kind of a weird pump.... seems more like some muscle strain now - its coming slowly along.
    Comp Bench 95x3, 110x2, 115x2, 120 (holy left ham cramp), 125 - all ezpz
130x1 @ wtf is wrong with my leg??? ouchie. PR but probably 8.5? Hard to say with back and leg cramp.
    110x5x6 sets pretty damn easyT
Skipped squats, will lift next on Tuesday, I hope I don't detrain too much.
The comp bench, I'm pressing from a dead stop on my chest but staying tight. Two guys were benching with a pool noodle next to me - but TNG-ing off of it. I didn't get the purpose of that?

Break from camp to train at RUSH FITNESS in Paris ME.
Couldn’t get the squat rack til last.
TNG BENCH 135x1 @8 110x5x5 75%. this is too easy I think. Spotter said I had right arm flare (I felt it) but these singles at 135 are getting easier.
    PRESS 60x10x3 sets (1.0)
    SQUAT 2ct 45x5
    Regular 45x5x2 95x5 105x5 125x2 135x2 155
No knee sleeves. Felt ok. pause is not a good idea w back right now.
The whole place (4 peep) were staring bc I benched 135. Yep. Still weak sauce!!

Can't blame them, I would be too.

Maybe it’s just how odd looking I am: from the front I look ancient now, w Snow White hair... from the back I’m still mostly a brunette. Cognitive dissonance! No one expects dear old grandma to want to lift heavy or ask them to curl elsewhere so she can benchpress, I guess. (I pissed a guy off by asking that today.) I tend to unknowingly rub people the wrong way. I should post a pic. Lol.

    chalkless!

2ct Bench What’s going on here, I think it’s a PR?? Last I saw was 95x6@9 for 2s but I could be wrong
FUCK osteopenia, I’m not giving in or giving up. I looked it up there’s an “alkalinity” diet for it...wth it’s all stuff I eat everyday (broccoli spinach sweet potatoes)!!! I’ll have to see what my score was (my dr is freaking!! she was so sure from training I’d have exceptionally strong bones). My gran had osteoporosis with kyphosis at 75, never broke any bones (positivity).
