It went. Did 5# more than planned on DL (blue plate deficit); up a tiny bit on 2ct bench. Still no sign of chest muscles.
I also stepped out of the ladies room and rescued a young woman benching 65# with clips who missed the last rep; the rest of the gym - oblivious!

Felt crappy, fighting off something since Fri., a little better Tues. Another coworker is ill. Ugh.

Squat ok. Surprised press was there today, so I took it, while watching my favorite bench to see if I could grab it during press: guy teaching his wife benchpress - trouble with the bar for 5. Loads 50, she needed help with the 5th rep; rest between sets with the same weight (needed help with the 4th rep, then the 3rd...). Huh...does that get you strong?? I'll have to ask next time. They weren't done so - CGBP in the black ops room, different bench/bar height, finger closer grip & had trouble lifting off - I went up on lower RPEs, then had to drop my last set to keep it @8 (I should just go by the correct %). Triceps tip of the hat this am (doms).

SIDE NOTE: 2 months squatting/deadlifting on the performance platforms at Retro instead of a mat over concrete – plantar fasciitis that's plagued me for two years is completely gone.

    Plantar fasciitis...sucks!

It's been a chronic problem for me over the past 10 years.

Some months are better than others. I find that the shoes I wear (or don't wear) are the main culprits.

But yeah, flooring can do it too.

    Nice Pressing.

Thanks. I had it years ago in my 40s solved with orthotics. I had a WLing coach tell me never lift on concrete, it's sooo bad for you - I guess he was right.

Lost my 5th grandchild at 11wks gestation. I'm sure it'll be fine, no sleep worrying about my kids though so not the best session.
Went up only 3# on DL. Probably should just have done the 215, I COULD do even more but the price would be a little high.
Bench, 125 was more like 8.5, TODAY - wasn't a grind went right up but felt harder - press? Every time I start doing more press my shoulders hurt in bench. I'm using the low stress week 2 of this block for bench til the gym Bench-A-Thon next Saturday (no clue what I'll be doing there I heard AMRAP or 1RM. I think its 8-10 men who bench over 300#... and granny - on the signup sheet so far; but that doesnt mean no other girls will be there. Doesn't really matter how I do, its for a good cause - vets, I just dont want to shoot my training in the foot going forward). Leg press was in use so no. My knees probably wouldn't have been happy anyway.

There's a month I won't miss. 4 more to the next holiday and warm! I'm very tired and still feel under siege by a cold - really not into training but I did it. TNG to pretty easy eight or 7.5, right shoulder/bicep tendon has been wonky so a fingerwidth in grip; chiro after training - turns out right shoulder blade and rib were not straight. Hopefully that's it.

Gotta withdraw from benchathon; taking Friday-Monday to go care for my children, get them back on track. My son looks to me as the strength/matriarch of the family — idk why (I want a tiara). And my uncle is in the hospital in serious condition may entail more travel IDK. Ugh.

SQUAT: heaviest single, lost all FOCUS (and my upper back tight) in the hole - wth this is not that heavy - pushed the fucker up anyway! (trainer teaching to the left of me, boys won't shut up to the right, stuck in the middle with the mirror — slight glance and why are people watching? IDK why I find that so unnerving). Downsets, fine.

PRESS: same as last week (fuck every other week weakness, did it anyway, my press hasnt moved in ages. Two young women doing 10# db press next to me, giving me nasty looks. I did nothing wrong!)

CGBP: I've been playing w/grip width on these I admit - ring finger inside the rings today — I need to note that, old, gray and I forget... Weight down today, prob. due to grabbing the 2s bench set at 110 this weekend, triceps were sca-REEMing.

    Press 85x1 71x5x5s
