    Squat
    135x3x5

    Bench Press
    135x2x5
    135x18

Could have been worse. I looked like a newborn baby calf trying to support the barbell during these reps.

    Deadlift
    225x5

    DB Curl
    20x10
    25x10
    30x10
    25x10
    20x10

This workout cleared my head so much. I don't think I have the option in life to not lift.

    Squat
    275x10

    Bench
    155x2x5
    155x14

So far so good, up to 305x3x5/165x14/335x10 S/B/D. Going to be hitting 315 on the squat for max reps in a few weeks. I'm slowly ramping up the assistance exercises. My main goal now is glute and hamstring hypertrophy. Squats and deadlifts are not enough in that regard.

Ok, two years later and I'm back for an update. What a trip. I hugely dislocated my elbow last summer, and then covid hit, so my lifting has been inconsistent for awhile. After lockdown ended I got back into it fully and squatted 345x3x5 on SS, benched 205x10 and deadlifted 375x5 after 12 weeks. I'm disappointed to still be under what I used to be able to lift some 8-9 years later, but i realize I was 20 years old, a student, and very motivated then. Life has been happening, good and bad and I just haven't had the chance to put together a good 6 to 12 months of consistency. I'm happy though, as I still love lifting. Maybe not as much as I used to when I was reading every blog on the internet, but it still brings me satisfaction.

My weight is back to 250 @ 6'2 after sitting around 180 for years. It's good for my squat but I need to start thinking about my health, so I'm starting to do more conditioning. With the way things are going on bench I should be beating all time PR's by Christmas. Excited but damn, when I was younger I didn't want it today, I wanted it yesterday. I'm much more content now with the understanding that this is most likely going to be a lifelong hobby and lifelong process. If I bench 275 next year and hit 315 in my mid thirties, not a big deal.

    Cheers everyone, happy lifting.
