It's that time of the year. Everybody around me has been sick. So far I have been fortunate Last year was the worst. My kids kept bringing stuff home from school and I had a 3 month period where I averaged less then 1 session per week. Kids love to share what they shouldn't and refuse to share what they should! Flue, multiple stomach viruses, abscessed tooth, unexpected travel..... Winter almost always results in some kind of an interruption in training. All we can do is push forward as much as possible. As a side note about 6 months ago I lifted right after a stomach virus where it was coming out of both ends. I couldn't eat for 3 days and I nailed all the lifts! There is no way I should have had the energy to do that. Some of my most surprising days have been when I felt like crap!
