    I plan to keep pushing deadlift up with a top set each week. Today I wanted to do a higher top set but decided to make sure the back was OK and will build it back up to recent levels over the next couple weeks.

    Seem to have dropped a bit of weight - not sure if this is a good thing or not. Added a nice top double that felt pretty good.

    I like the idea of clean pulls and haven't had much time to do them lately. 40kg was pretty light but I'll work my way back up trying to maintain good form.

    Back is still giving me a little discomfort. Hasn't affected my lifting yet so I'm sticking with it trying to keep good technique. I think I might need to eat more - weight has dropped a little again.

    Did an 8km hike yesterday, so I was a bit tired. Back seems to be loosening up slowly. Didn't eat too well today.

    Hectic at work and haven’t eaten my proper lunch all week so I’ve been feeling hungry and tired. Wanted to skip the workout tonight but I did it, though squats and presses were tough. Deadlifts were very smooth. Had a great dinner and will eat like a horse tomorrow to prepare for Saturday.
