I've been meaning to add an extra bench session for a while but being the holidays, I guess I just couldn't be arsed. Anyway, finally did one with a few sets of chins and dips. I forgot how much I love dips. Wanted to do another set but the dog was waiting to go for a walk and who am I to argue with my dog.

Forgot to post my new year goals. It's likely to be a hectic year but I would like to make some progress on all four lifts. I'm not sure if these are conservative or bold. I guess I'll find out in December.
SQUAT 130kg (1RM) - (Current best is 115kg 2RM) Actually getting under the bar & doing this could be tough
DEADLIFT 140kg (1RM) - (Current best 125kg 3RM) This seems realistic
BENCH 90kg (1RM) - (Current best (82.5kg 1RM) This seems doable with some work
PRESS 60kg (1RM) - (Current best 52.5kg 1RM) I have no idea about this one

Wore a belt for the last two sets of bench. The 4th reps were slooow but they went up OK.

Squats were hard, still sore from earlier sessions this week. Had a little trouble with bar path on set 1 of press and thought I’d miss it but managed to save it. Grip is definitely the weak point in deadlift.
