Minimal pain pain so far, even right when it happened. I was straining to get the Med Ball over the bar and heard a snap and it
felt like a jolt of electricity through the arm. I looked and could immediately see the damage. There's a gap below my shoulder.
I'm sure this is also connected to my bad left shoulder, because it's been hurting pretty bad for a couple of months.
I will have to be careful with the arm for a couple of weeks, and then I might try working my legs twice a week at the fitness center
where my wife goes. They have a Leg Press, Leg Extension, and Leg curl that have weights stacks, so I wont have to lift plates.
This totally sucks, because my 600 pound Trap Bar Deadlift before I turn 61 wont be happening now, but it could be worse.
It's just the price of admission for doing what I love to do.

Good to see you have already found an alternate plan. I know Spud makes a harness that allows you to DL without using your arms but loading the bar would still be a problem using one arm.

Damn, Shug. That's certainly nothing that I ever want to read from anyone.

But it does look like you have a plan to move forward, which is good, even if it means that the 600lb by 61 is off the table.

    Keep at it!

Thanks guys. I'm hoping it's not too bad, but time will tell. My youngest Son showed his compassion by telling me...

"You can focus on maybe finally growing those chicken legs." Lol

Yes, my sons have always razzed me about my legs. I've been reliving my glory days today and found this old video...
