Great pull. That's a lot of work. How long do you think it takes to recover from that?

The overall volume was pretty low, so I don't foresee any problems. I try to get a lot of sleep, which is the most important
part of recovery. For at least a year and a half I have used no supplements whatsoever, no protein powders or anything.
I don't even eat that much anymore and rarely touch milk. I do take some basic vitamins and fish oil and that's it.
IMHO, the lifting community has been sold a bill of goods about needing high protein consumption and all that nonsense.
My youngest Son thinks I should look into some low dose testosterone, but I would rather not mess with it.

I get your point on the supplements. I have read your better off eating your protein from real food..As for the TRT, I hear good and bad. Some say it's safe, others say it could cause other issues like heart and thickening of blood

Supplements and high protein intake are not needed. Yes, Test can thicken your blood.

Those having had a pause are harder than just dropping down and back up aren't they? Good effort!

No stretch reflex. I'm going to work on pausing them a little longer.

I know what a problem the shoulders can be. The only press for me that is pain free most of the time is the flat bench. Does doing a limited range of motion seem to help avoid the pain? I have read where some use the slingshot to help with pain in the bottom position.
