Lol... No real secrets, just fooling around! I can hook you up if you are interested. All I need is your true current max

I can sure use help. I look at my log and see my numbers either going down or stagnant. I guess it's age related and me trying not to gain weight. My grandson. who is training with me keeps getting stronger every week .
My last lifts were SB Sqt 3 sets of 5 reps on Monday and I'm sore today. I did DB bench last week 59 for 3 sets five, Press 85 x3 DL 230x3. If you need 1 rep max I can try tomorrow. I will be going to Colorado for a week on Saturday.
I have DBs, Lat machine, trap bar. Also a Nautilus combination seated chess press pull down machine. Luckily most parts seem to be working ok. The gout seems to have mostly gone. I am drinking the lemon juice every morning. Thanks Jerry.

You can get stronger without gaining weight. Colorado sounds great, I love it there. Try to get a solid Deadlift max and you
can focus on that when you get back from Colorado. I'll watch your training log and work up the numbers for you and post it there.
I'm glad to hear the Gout has subsided, keep drinking at least 1 ounce of pure lemon juice in water every morning.
    Stay Strong!!

If you get a chance, go see Primus on their current tour A Tribute to Kings. They play Rush's A Farewell to Kings in its entirety, and do it very, very, very well. Pretty accurate on the music, but thankfully Les Claypool doesn't try to reach Geddy's register. He just sings it the way he would sing it. And it works.

There are videos out there already on YT, but they just don't do justice to seeing and hearing it in person.
