Regarding training, I know how you feel as I've been dealing with one injury after another. A year or two ago I had accumulated a few injuries and just took a few months away from lifting. All the minor nagging injuries eventually disappeared for a while. I seem to be getting them back again now though as I ramp up the weight again.
You've been training hard and heavy trying to get a 600lb deadlift, but perhaps that just isn't worth the toll on your body. I'm dropping weight and increasing reps because of that toll. It's hard to keep up the heavy weights when you're nearing 60 and injuries take forever to heal.
Last year I sold my BMW street bike and I bought a hot tub. It makes a huge difference on sore joints and muscles. I hardly rode the bike, but use the hot tub almost every night. Something to consider...
