Hit the 405 milestone on squats this week! Super excited about that. This programming works so well when you do everything as written. Such easy progress. I might even use the 2.5lb plates on deadlift and squat just to keep things going! Fantastic!!!

Looking forward to the weekend! Coworker and I have plans to tour some local vineyards. That should be lots of fun! Hopefully we will have some time to talk about our future plans together...

Good session. I'll discuss thoughts on final update.

I've been reading several of the excellent articles published on this website. Since reading them, I have picked up a pair of 1/2lb plates. Soon I will begin loading my OHP with one pound jumps and then moving that to bench. I think I will also switch to 2.5lb jumps on squats and deadlifts in a week or so to keep my novice phase going. I am really enjoying this effective program!

The fellow I know at the gym got a little drunk the other night and was sending me inappropriate photos on his phone. Very weird. I asked him about it the next day and he apologized. My coworker has decided to move in with me! I have a separate room as I was lucky enough to inherit my residence, and she loves the location. To celebrate we are going out to pick up some window treatments this weekend and maybe make some pottery centerpieces to display. I am so excited.

Hmm Rob..my deadlift is still a little above yours - but you are doing it 3 times a week. A feat I could not imagine at those weights.

Your recovery and genetic potential must really be something .

I'm not sure how you do it --- especially with all the male attention you receive!

Thank you! My gains have all been a product of trying to be as compliant as possible with the SSNLP.

Apologies for not updating this log recently. I've been on lots of work travel with limited down time to use the computer combined with limited access.

Work has been super busy. Lots of loose ends to tie up here recently.

Hit some nice milestones after the last month. I moved squats to the 2.5lbs increment which I think helped me keep the deadlift going. The program works so well! I think I'll get some smaller plates to increment the press and bench smaller also when the time comes.

It's been great having my girlfriend (female coworker) living with me. We get to watch lots of DIY projects at night on television and plan out a lot of fun weekend activities. In a couple of weeks we are going to try to do some cheesemaking. It sounds awesome!

I had another run-in with the guy from the gym, this time a bit more physical. Hopefully he understands his boundaries better now.

Between some additional travel and personal issues, I am very happy to have had the gym* as a refuge.

*I had to change my local gym due to an assault. The "friend" I've mentioned before crossed the line. He and a few of his friends tried to rape me in the locker room. While it sounds like nonsense, getting stronger allowed me to clench my gluteus maximi together to prevent an attempted penetration. I was able to get free thanks to some Krav Maga moves and alert the authorities. They are all being handled appropriately by the authorities, but due to the trauma, I had to switch gyms.

When my girlfriend found out about this, at first she didn't know what to think. Apparently a prior boyfriend of hers used a similar story as a cover for his homosexual escapades. I was able to convince her all was alright otherwise and we had a cathartic weekend retreat at a vineyard that also hosts classes on Bikram yoga. It was wonderful.

I am so happy to have The Iron as my friend in life. The strength I've gained likely saved me several weeks ago.
