    Moving along. I think I'll go to a 1 day on 3 days off system until I leave town, that way I can get a bit extra needed recovery and just continue on LP and not have to adjust then re-adjust programming

    Oddly the Squat felt the best out of all these lifts, which is rarely the case. Glad I filmed Bench - too much elbow flair. I think I did better on the second two sets. Deadlift felt ok. Seems like I held my back together decently

    Your workouts are looking good, man. How's the three-days-off schedule working? I just switched to a 4-day split across Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Monday. Can let ya know how that goes.

    3 days off was working well. Under normal circumstances I would switch to regular intermediate 3x/week programming next week but since I'm forced to miss a week now I'll have to adjust when I get to Austin. I'm basically going on an extended road trip. All I know is I'm starting in Austin

    Some idiot walked right in my view on rep 3 of my DL and it just threw me off too much. It would have been a hard set of 5 but I didn't want to try to power through it and risk a technique error with such a long voyage ahead of me starting Thursday

    starting strength coach development program

    Trained at Starting Strength Austin! Wow what great facilities these Starting Strength Gyms are. Just a huge upgrade from my previous training situation.

    Squat: 265x5

    Press: 142.5x5, 135x5x2

    Deadlift: 355x3

    Felt my quad on the Squat, which is why I stopped at one top set. Sucks because I had completely stopped thinking about it. It didn't feel like I actually re-strained it at least. I think I just have to be super super careful with training frequency. The week in the car/missed planned training was likely just a bit too much stress on it. Will have to adjust down in these situations in the future despite the weight still being so low. Who knows, its frustrating. On a positive note, it was nice to have other coaches there giving me form feedback. My Press is a mess haha
