    Friday 7/16/21 - Black Mountain Strength

    This was a good day considering how crappy I've felt the last 2 weeks up to and including today. Stayed conservative on the Squat as to avoid any quad setbacks, and the speed was good so I'm encouraged about getting back to 405 by the end of the year. Bench was a nice surprise as I was not expecting much without a spotter here. But it also moved rather fast. Will get 3 full days of rest and hopefully finish strong with PR and DL next Tuesday

    All 4 lifts are higher than they were last cycle so I'll take it. Obviously I did not go all out or anything but that's what the situation called for. Lifting, diet and life have been suboptimal in various ways the last year so as long as things are improving without setbacks I'm happy. Will cut off as much belly fat as I can over the next couple months before things get heavy again

    Decided to give thumbs around/wrist wraps another go in the Squat. I feel like I can lean over more and use more muscle mass with that grip for some reason. Wrist situation is a bit rough though. Will see how it goes. I did Squat 460 with that grip
