Monday 1/10/22 - Black Mountain Strength

Missed two full weeks so kept it super light today. First week was due to a variety of factors, mainly too much stress on Volume Day for a few weeks in a row. Then I got sick. Just a cold. But I suppose it could have been the dreaded Omicron since my housemates have it. Don't care either way.
Unfortunately I think training may not be great for a while. I only have 3 weeks left in the place I'm staying(gym in garage) then will be moving across town and having to join a commercial gym. I checked the place out and it seems fine. All the necessary equipment and seemingly no mask bullshit. But I have some other things going on that may affect training as well and Big Picture I'm still not yet sure where I'll settle. Nevada has been great overall and most likely will stay but Texas and Florida have to be considered as well. The ongoing idiocy surrounding Covid still makes it very hard for someone in my situation to plan life. Will just have to take things as they come

Friday 1/14/22 - Black Mountain Strength

Beginning a 2x/week low volume cycle. In warming up today I could tell how badly my body needed rest as nothing hurt like it had been. This is pretty disappointing considering how much lower my work sets are then back when I last set PRs. It doesn't seem like the weights/programming I'm using should be fatiguing me so much. I don't feel like I'm exhibiting signs of low testosterone but I'll have to get that checked soon regardless

Was doing Press 1.0 since reps were higher. Will switch back to 2.0 now. I also need to go back to 3x/week. 2x just isn't enough stress. Unfortunately I'll have more schedule disruptions coming up but things will normalize at the end of February and should be able to get back into a regular 3x/week schedule
