I'm sure that the sleeves will give you an extra rep or two and make the movement less painful.

    2-17-21 Wednesday

    Bench
    .bar-8
    ..70-5
    120-5
    140-3
    160-3
    180-3

No pain. First time using new elbow sleeves. Felt good and snug with no issues.

Those sleeves work by keeping you warm, if it happens to be unseasonably cold, throw a sweat shirt on top of that.
    Good work!

More than once I have been using my phone to edit instead of on my computer that I have had post totally disappear.

    This is replacement for:

    2-15-21 Monday
    Squat
    .bar-
    ..70-5
    120-3
    160-3
    175-3

Good form. Still have to check depth better.

All done with new slings ala 57bergstrm. Still have to get used to them but NO shoulder pain using slings.

    Thanks Lars!

Missed Friday workout due to feeling sick most of the day and not full sleep lately.

    2-20-2021 Saturday

    Squat
    .bar-5
    ..70-5
    120-3
    160-3
    175-3
    175-3
    160-3

Last 3 sets all felt harder than they should have. Also still adapting to using the slings.

Interesting to hear you using slings, how close to the bar is the hands?
I am maybe 4 inch away.

Aha, ”a dear child has many names” a n old viking saying in Sweden.
I think as close as possible, then its easier to push the back of the shoulders against the bar for contact. Whats your thinkin, is the bar resting proper on the back?
