Keep yourself hydrated, and take breaks.
    Go to bed early.
Sort of like you'd recommend to someone else.
Have fun, try not to show off.

Show off? Haha...I'll be lucky to survive. I wished I had gotten my sh*t together and done this before its hot like the next days are going to get.

    That's the spirit! Just because.

I'm in a similar situation. Trail work season has started, so Tuesday afternoon was a very quick 2.5 miles uphill (about 1,000' of gain), then hours bushwacking through very thick brush as we placed markers for where we'll be putting in a new trail for hikers, bikers, and equestrians. It was just a few hours, but it cooked me for a Wednesday lifting session.

    Keep at it!

Thanks Lars now I plan on trying to add a bit more load and work past it. Hopefully I won't have anymore 3 day weekends of 12 hour work days any time soon to interrupt the progression. At least not two in a row.

Thanks for that. I was looking for a bit of background music and that fits the bill quite nicely on this warm Friday evening.
