All my plates are old school black so you lost me there.

My young man top single bench PR was 305-310*. I did 225x1 nine weeks ago but being older who knows how long the progress will last.

*I weighed my plates this year and most were very close But two out of eight 25's were 2.3 and 2.6 pounds heavy and they might or not have been used thus 305-310.

My all time best Bench Press was 310. I'm limited now because I wrecked my left shoulder in 2013 doing close grips with 245.
There was a nasty tear-pop noise and I've had pain every day since. I'm sure it needed surgery, but I don't do doctors.
I still have good range of motion in both shoulders and most days the pain is fairly minimal, but benching is limited.

That's a shame Shug especially the constant pain. I have limited range of motion overhead with mine so no ohp. I guess if someone gets to our age with normal healthy shoulders they are doing well. I will be 68 this month and keep getting stronger so I feel blessed for that.

20 kilogram plates are blue. If you also assume the olympic bar is 20 kg (44 pounds), then 2 blue plates on each side of a 20 kg bar = 100kg, or 220 pounds.

I felt burned out after last Tuesdays lifts and some poor sleep so I took Friday off lifting. I had/have much work going on with the house and energy is at a premium and I am sure thats why I felt that way. Beautiful weather right now and exactly how October should be. I turn 68 this week so maybe I can come up with a PR to celebrate. HAHA!

Exactly (seconded). I had some daunting tree pruning I needed to do Sunday afternoon but the cold front (along with whatever training effect I got from pressing overhead) made it painless.

That's great to hear. The weather in our area is awesome right now isn't it?

This week I am going to try to do only one main lift a day to spread out the stress as I will be working outside every day.

    Squat
    070-5
    120-3
    170-3
    190-1
    222-1*
    225-1*
    205-3*

I know these weights are just warm up sets to a lot of people but for me to finally get a 2 plate single and a 3 rep set above the bench press are milestones for me. Squats been tough.

I hope that everyone can have a great week also. Awesome weather continued!
